What we collect, and what we never do with it.

A readable account of the data Bothy holds and why. Like the terms, this is a summary pending the formal policy.

What we hold

Account: name, email, the bothies you belong to and your role in each
Work: hours, projects, tickets, messages, documents, invoices and rates
Billing: what the account holder pays us, handled by our payment processor — we never see full card numbers
Technical: sign-in times, IP address and browser, kept for security and ninety days

Who can see your work

Rate visibility follows role. A person sees their own rate, their own hours and their own invoices. What a client is billed is visible to owners only. Data never crosses between bothies: every query is scoped to the workspace you are in.

Who else touches it

A small number of processors we cannot run without — hosting, email delivery, payments and error reporting. Each is contractually barred from using your data for anything but providing that service.

This marketing site uses Google Analytics to count visits, with IP addresses anonymised and browsers that send a Global Privacy Control signal left out. The app itself carries no analytics and no advertising trackers: nothing you do inside a bothy is measured by a third party.
